     The developmental guidance program focuses on the affective education of all students Pre-K to 5.  Students participate in whole class guidance activities, as well as individual and group counseling sessions as needed.  Consultation with parents and teachers is an integral part of the guidance program, and often times coordination of services with outside agencies is facilitated.  As per district requirement, the elementary guidance program is part of the Standards-Based Student Career Development Program, helping to prepare our students for their future transition from school to work.  Positive elements such as character education, conflict resolution, time management and organization, and appropriate decision making are emphasized.
